Modifications and ordering

The Precision Kinematic Optical Mounts are provided with various sensitivities from 10arcsec to 3arcsec. Sensitivity depends on modification.
5OBM119, 5BM121, 5UM122, 5LAM124 – the standard models. They have adjustment screws M6x0.35, which are mounted directly to the base plate (Fig. 1). The alignment plate is pushed directly with a hardened steel ball tip. You don't have to specify this screw in the order.
If you want to receive mounts of higher sensitivity, you may order them with STANDA's Fine Adjustment Screws (see section 9).
In this case kinematic mounts are modified to have either Ø8 or M10x1 mounting holes to accommodate the appropriate screws. Alignment mechanism has a hardened steel plate fitted (Fig. 2, Fig. 3). Hardened steel ball tip of the screw push against the steel plate to move the alignment mechanism. This ensures smooth motion.
